The Neuroscience Literacy in Mental Health Microcredential is currently offered at no cost to participants through Marshall University as part of the Neuroscience Literacy in Mental Health initiative.

There are no registration fees, tuition charges, continuing education fees, technology fees, or additional costs associated with enrollment, participation, completion of program requirements, or issuance of continuing education certificates.

The program is supported through institutional resources and external grant funding, allowing participants to complete all instructional modules, required readings, assessments, and evaluations without financial obligation.

Should registration fees be implemented for future offerings, Marshall University will clearly communicate all applicable costs, payment procedures, and cancellation/refund policies to prospective participants prior to enrollment. Any future changes to program fees will be prominently displayed on the program website and all promotional materials before registration opens.

Review Process

• Participants will receive written acknowledgment of receipt within five (5) business days.

• The grievance will be reviewed by the Continuing Education Program Administrator in consultation with appropriate faculty, program planners, and the program's psychologist reviewer, when applicable.

• A written response or resolution will typically be provided within thirty (30) calendar days of receiving the complaint.

• If additional time is required, participants will be notified of the status and anticipated timeline.

Confidentiality

All grievances are handled confidentially to the extent permitted by law and university policy. Records related to grievances are maintained in accordance with Marshall University policies and APA Continuing Education Sponsor Approval Standards.
