Lab News

• • 14th January 2026: Bhagaban and Anjali's paper demonstrating "Asap-regulated Arf6 in mediating synaptic calcium homeostsis through Endoplasmic Reticulum" got accepted in PLOS Genetics. This work was done in collaboration with Andrew Frank, University of Iowa. Congratulations Bhagaban, Anjali and all the other authors!

  • 13th December 2025: Srikanth delivers a talk at 7th InDRC meeting at IISER-Mohali.

  • 17th November 2025: Srikanth presented his PhD work in Open Seminar.

  • 20th-22nd August, 2025: Zeeshan (currently working at UCSD, USA) visited the lab. It was great to catch-up (some science) with him after about 8 years!

  • 28th July 2025: Biteshwari and Shruti join the group as graduate students. Welcome to the lab!

  • 23 Dec 2024: Anjali's paper demonstrating a novel role of Prefoldins in Tauopathy, got published in eLife. This work was done in collaboration with Mani Ramaswami (Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience, University of Dublin), Chandan Sahi (IISER Bhopal) and Abhijit Das (IIT Kharagpur). Congratulations Anjali and all the other authors!

  • Anjali received the prestigious Trainee Professional Development Award at the Society for Neuroscience annual meeting 2024 in Chicago.

  • Srikanth received the best poster award at the Organelle Biology and Membrane Trafficking Meeting 2024, IISER Pune.
