CEO/Founder
Hi! I’m Ananya Banda, the founder and CEO of Neuro Aid, a student-led initiative focused on neuroscience and epilepsy awareness. I'm currently a high school student with a strong passion for the human brain and a big goal of becoming a neurosurgeon one day.
I started Neuro Aid because I wanted to make brain science more understandable and meaningful to people outside the classroom. My goal has always been to help others learn about neurological conditions like epilepsy, reduce the stigma around them, and create ways for students to get involved and make a difference. As someone who loves both science and service, I’ve used Neuro Aid to bring together my interests in medicine, leadership, and giving back. We’ve raised funds for epilepsy research, led awareness campaigns, and created educational resources that make complex topics more accessible.
Outside of Neuro Aid, I train for competitive badminton (currently taking a break due to an injury) and stay involved in Student Council and the National Honor Society through school and community volunteering. I also volunteer at a physical therapy clinic, where I shadow therapists and assist with daily tasks. In my free time, I enjoy photography and volunteer as a photographer for Telugu TANTEX events, capturing cultural moments and community stories.
To me, Neuro Aid isn’t just a project, it’s something I genuinely care about. It’s about using what we know to make life better for people living with neurological challenges, and inspiring others to do the same.
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
I am part of NeuroAid because I’m passionate about raising epilepsy awareness and encouraging others through creative communication. As the Chief Marketing Officer, I help shape the organization’s message, design outreach strategies, and manage campaigns that promote our mission and events. I enjoy combining creativity in branding, storytelling, and social media design with strategic planning and teamwork to help the organization reach more people. Outside of school, I have reached the senior level in my dance academy and help teach beginner and intermediate students. I also enjoy volunteering in my community and exploring new social media strategies for creative initiatives.
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
I’m part of NeuroAid because I’m passionate about raising awareness for epilepsy and supporting those affected in meaningful ways. I want to contribute to making a positive impact in my community and helping others feel seen and supported. I bring leadership, quadrilingual abilities, a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a creative approach to problem-solving, which I use to help make events, fundraisers, and community programs run smoothly and successfully. Outside of school, I enjoy dancing, reading, and exploring new ways to volunteer and give back to my community. I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, grow, and make a difference alongside a team of motivated and caring people.
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
I am part of NeuroAid because I’m passionate about using technology to make a real difference in people’s lives, especially those affected by epilepsy. As the Chief Technology Officer, I help manage the organization’s digital presence, create tools to support fundraising and awareness campaigns, and make sure our online systems run smoothly. I enjoy combining my technical skills, such as coding, web design, and data analysis, with leadership and problem-solving to help the team achieve its goals. Outside of school, I like to work on personal coding projects, learn about emerging technologies, and volunteer in my community, which helps me continue growing both as a student and as a changemaker.
CO-Chief Technology Officer (CO-CTO)
I am proud to be a part of Neuro Aid due to the awareness of epilepsy, which has substantial gaps. Many people do have an idea of elipsey, alas, this is a shallow understanding; we are here to change that. I wish to contribute to awareness of this.
