Brielle Stark, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Speech and Hearing Sciences Department at Indiana University. Dr. Stark completed her doctoral research in Clinical Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge (UK) and her undergraduate work in Psychology and Neural and Behavioral Science at Bryn Mawr College. Her doctoral work focused on iPad-delivered speech therapy and inner speech in aphasia and was funded by the Gates Cambridge Trust. She is presently the first and only graduate of Bryn Mawr College to be awarded a Gates Cambridge Scholarship. She is interested in modeling and predicting language reorganization and recovery in acquired adult language disorders using structural and functional brain markers acquired from MRI.
