We are interested in understanding how reorganization of the brain following an acquired language disorder (aphasia; traumatic brain injury) correlates with language ability and recovery
We use MRI to acquire high resolution images of the brain, which allows us to explore:

How the Brain is Physically Connected
Investigating the relationship of brain damage (like a stroke) on connections (white matter fibers) and how damage to those connections is related to function
