Having Trouble Watching Netflix on Your TV?
Netflix is one of the most popular streaming services in the world, and one of its best features is the ability to create and manage profiles. Whether you're watching alone, with family, or sharing an account, Netflix profiles help keep your watch history, recommendations, and settings personalized.
A Netflix profile is like a personal account within your Netflix subscription. Each profile has:
Its own watch history
Personalized movie/show recommendations
Separate continue watching list
Custom settings (language, autoplay, maturity rating)
You can create a profile on the Netflix app, website, or even on a smart TV. Here’s how:
📱 On Mobile (Android/iPhone):
Open the Netflix app
Tap your profile icon (top right)
Select Manage Profiles
Tap Add Profile
Enter a name
If it’s for a child, toggle on “Kid?”
Tap Save
💻 On the Website (Desktop or Laptop):
Go to https://www.netflix.com and sign in
Hover over your profile picture (top right)
Click Manage Profiles
Click Add Profile
Enter a name and choose if it's for a kid
Click Continue
To change the name, picture, or settings:
Go to Manage Profiles
Click on the profile you want to change
Edit:
Name
Profile icon

Click Save when done.
Be careful — deleting a profile removes all its watch history and data.
Steps:
Go to Manage Profiles

Click Delete Profile
