Having Trouble Watching Netflix on Your TV?
Netflix has two types of autoplay features:
Autoplay Next Episode – Automatically plays the next episode in a series.
Autoplay Previews – Automatically plays previews while browsing content.
You cannot change autoplay settings directly from the Netflix TV app. These settings must be updated through a web browser, but they will apply to all devices — including your TV.
1. Open a Web Browser
Go to:👉 https://www.netflix.com
and sign in to your Netflix account.
2. Go to ‘Manage Profiles’
Hover over your profile icon (top-right) and click on “Manage Profiles.”
3. Select Your Profile
Click on the profile for which you want to change autoplay settings.
4. Update Autoplay Settings
You’ll see two options:
Autoplay next episode in a series on all devices
Autoplay previews while browsing on all devices
5. Click Save
Once done, click Save to apply changes. Your new settings will take effect immediately, including on your smart TV.

Yes! Autoplay settings are profile-specific, so you can enable it for one profile and disable for another.
While Netflix doesn’t offer autoplay control directly on TV apps, you can easily manage your preferences through your browser — and the changes will reflect across all devices. Whether you're trying to stop autoplay for peace of mind, or keep it on for seamless binge-watching, you’re in control.
