Having Trouble Watching Netflix on Your TV?
You can set up Netflix on multiple devices by downloading the Netflix app, signing in with your account, and selecting a profile. While you can log in on unlimited devices, the number of devices that can stream simultaneously depends on your plan. Netflix allows up to 5 profiles per account, and you can manage or sign out devices anytime from your account settings.
Depending on your device, download Netflix from:
Mobile (Android/iOS): Google Play Store / App Store
PC/Mac: Use browser (www.netflix.com)
Smart TV/Streaming Device: Go to app store (Samsung, LG, Roku, Firestick, etc.)
Once installed:
Open the Netflix app
Tap “Sign In”
Enter your email/phone number and password
After login, select your profile or create a new one. You can create up to 5 profiles per account, each with separate watch history, preferences, and parental controls.
Repeat the process on each new device you want to add. You’ll stay logged in unless you manually sign out.
To manage active devices:
Go to Netflix.com > Account
Under Settings, click "Manage access and devices"
See all logged-in devices
Sign out remotely from any device if needed
If you’re on the Standard or Premium plan, you can also download shows for offline viewing:
Standard plan: Up to 2 devices
Premium plan: Up to 6 devices
To download:
Open the Netflix app
Select a show/movie
Tap the Download icon (arrow)
If you try to watch on more devices than your plan allows, Netflix will show an error:
"Too many people are using your account right now."
Solution:
Stop streaming on unused devices
Upgrade your plan
Use the “Manage Devices” option to sign out others
