The Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador Program is made possible by volunteers and volunteer staff sponsors from Nebraska Extension. The following people have contributed their time to continue the success of the Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassadors.

Sue Ellen Pegg - E-Mail Sue Ellen - spegg2@unl.edu

Sue Ellen Pegg is the College Relations Director for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources where she oversees all areas of undergraduate student recruitment for the college. She has trained student ambassadors to represent a variety of interest areas since August 2008. Prior to that, Sue Ellen held roles in the recycling, leadership, agricultural research, and horticultural fields. Sue Ellen was a 10 year 4-H member who daily utilizes the skills developed from active 4-H participation.

Scott is a Level II 4-H Shooting Sports Instructor in Muzzleloading and Hunting, Wildlife, and Outdoor Skills and a Level III 4-H Shooting Sports Instructor for Archery. He is a leader in both Merrick and Hamilton County. Scott also serves as a National 4-H Shooting Sports Committee member. He also serves as the Assistant Chief Range Officer for the National 4-H Shooting Sports Championships. Developing youth to become confident, competent, caring, youth of good character through 4-H Shooting Sports is a core belief. Scott has a passion for 4-H, and the shooting sports program.

Steve is the Nebraska State 4-H Shooting Sports Coordinator and has served in that capacity for a number of years. He also is a Nebraska Extension Educator based in Boone & Nance Counties. As State Coordinator, his primary duties include the oversight of the Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports program and organizing/conducting training opportunities for volunteer leaders across the state. Steve also is the current Match Director for the 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships held in Grand Island, Nebraska. He has a passion for the 4-H program, especially 4-H shooting sports, creating champion youth across the country.
