Ambassadors

The following individuals are members of the Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador team. They have attended the required leadership seminar and maintain membership through bi-monthly conference calls, giving public presentations, and attending local and state 4-H events. 4-H clubs and leaders as well as community members are encouraged to reach out to ambassadors in their area for promotional and public presentations about Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports.

Samantha Hipke is a 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador from Spencer, Nebraska. She is currently a junior at West Boyd High School. Sam is a certified Shooting Sports Rifle Apprentice Instructor. The thing she likes best about shooting sports is teaching other people how to shoot. Besides shooting sports, she enjoys showing livestock and photography.

Kaylee Hostler is a Senior from Central City, Nebraska in Merrick County. She plans to attend NCTA in Curtis and major in Agricultural Education. As a member of Merrick County 4-H, she loves showing pigs and shooting both trap and archery.

Although she does many things through 4-H, one of her favorites is shooting sports. She has been in the X-Factor archery program since she was 12 and shooting trap since she was 16. She is excited to be a member of the 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassadors and can't wait to represent Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports.

Elizabeth is a 2017 Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador. She is currently a Junior at Plainview Schools in Pierce County. Elizabeth is also a certified 4-H Archery instructor. In 4-H she loves to bake and cake decorate, enter photos in the Photography project, and create other static exhibits. Her favorite thing about 4-H is Archery and teaching other kids how to shoot, so that they too can enjoy the opportunities that 4-H Shooting Sports has to offer.

Courtney Nielsen is from Blair, Nebraska. She is currently a Junior at Blair High School. She shoots on the Trap team for her school and is in 4-H in Washington County. She participates in 4-H Shooting Sports, the 4-H Horse project, and more. Courtney is also a part of the 2017 Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador team.

Ashley Schulze is from Battle Creek, Nebraska. She currently attends Norfolk Catholic High School. Ashley is also a certified Archery instructor. She loves to help youth. IN 2015, Ashley shot on the Nebraska Recurve Archery team at the 4-H National Shooting Sports Championships held in Grand Island. She loves the opportunities that come with being in 4-H, such as showing swine, doing static 4-H projects, and shooting trap and archery.

Austin lives in Central City, Nebraska. He has been involved in 4-H for 8 years. Austin loves to shoot different disciplines in 4-H Shooting Sports as well as show livestock. He also believes that 4-H is one of the best youth development programs ever. Austin is involved in 5 clubs including Homesteaders, Junior Leaders, Platte River Riders, X-Factor Archery, and Merrick County Trap Team. He hopes to get certified in the disciplines of Archery, Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun, and Hunting Skills in the future.

2016 Ambassador Team

Anna Crist is a junior at Aurora High School, in Hamilton County As a member of 4–H Power Club in Hamilton CO she enjoys doing different kinds of art projects. She most enjoys pencil, chalk, water colors, acrylic paint and wood burning.

In the Hamilton Co shooting sports club she enjoys shooting recurve bow and BB gun. She is also a junior leader and apprentice instructor for BB gun and .22 rifle. In the Sharp shooter group she shoots .22 pistol and rifle. She also does the dog project with her Husky mix dog Jem who is 7 years old, this year she is going to try 2 dogs, as she just got a 7 month old German Shepard X Husky mix.

Anna is very active in the community and her church Messiah Lutheran as she is planning on going on another mission trip this summer. Anna is also playing softball all year round with games starting in May – July, Aug – Oct

Cooper Dixon is a sophomore at Pleasanton High School. He is active in football and basketball, but his favorite sport is by far Shooting Sports. He has been very active in 4H, doing many different activities over the years including showing calves, lottery pigs, and even making a barn quilt that is displayed on his family farm. Not only is Cooper a Nebraska Shooting Sports Ambassador, but he was also chosen in 2016 to represent Nebraska as a National Shooting Sports Ambassador. Cooper participated in the National Shooting Sports Competition in 2016, in the Hunting Skills discipline. After high school, Cooper is undecided on where he will go to school, but he would love to be on a competitive trap team in college, and study gunsmithing.

Morgan is a Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador. She is a sophomore at Aurora High School in Hamilton County. She is certified in Archery as an apprentice instructor. She enjoys showing cattle and shooting trap.

Jerrod Fedorchik - E-Mail Jerrod - jfedo5017@gmail.com

Jerrod Fedorchik is a senior from Bridgeport High School in Bridgeport, Nebraska. He is currently competing for admission to the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he plans on majoring in chemistry. Jerrod is very involved in his high school in football, wrestling, track, speech, One Acts Play Production, and other clubs. He is also a volunteer EMT and firefighter for the town of Bridgeport.

Jerrod has been involved in the Morrill County Shooting Sports club since he was 10, participating in BB gun, Air Rifle, trap, small bore, and pistol shooting. He is a National 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador and a certified junior instructor in Rifle, Pistol, and Hunting Skills. Jerrod is very excited and proud to represent the Shooting Sports program of the state of Nebraska at both the State and National level.

KayLee Rasmussen is a 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador from Burwell, Nebraska. She is currently a Senior at Burwell Public Schools. KayLee is a certified 4-H Shooting Sports Shotgun as an apprentice. She loves shooting her shotgun and being able to help the youth. KayLee enjoys working with 4-H youth and their livestock as well.

Wyatt is in the X-Factor Archery Club and he is a leader in the club when needed. Wyatt is also in the Platte River Horse club and his parents are leaders. Wyatt participates in Archery, Pistol, and .22 Smallbore. He works on the farm and helps his dad with hay work in his free time. He would like to start a muzzleloader club in Merrick County in the future. He also wants to make improvements to his 4-H horse club.
