Ambassadors

The following individuals are members of the Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador team. They have attended the required leadership seminar and maintain membership through bi-monthly conference calls, giving public presentations, and attending local and state 4-H events. 4-H clubs and leaders as well as community members are encouraged to reach out to ambassadors in their area for promotional and public presentations about Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports.

2018 Ambassador Team

McKenna Darby - E-Mail McKenna

McKenna is a 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador from Pleasanton, Nebraska. She is currently a sophomore at Pleasanton Public Schools. The thing she likes best about shooting sports is helping youth learn how shooting sports can affect their life. She also enjoys showing how life skills learned through 4-H Shooting Sports can be a benefit into their future. Besides shooting sports McKenna enjoys spending her free time baking and hunting deer with her brother.

Ford Ekhoff - E-Mail Ford

Ford Ekhoff is a 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador from Aurora, Nebraska. He is currently a freshman at Aurora High School. Ford is a certified 4-H archery instructor. The thing he likes best about 4-H Shooting Sports is learning about the outdoors. Besides shooting sports, he enjoys living off the land and fishing.

2017 Ambassador Team

Ashley Schulze - E-Mail Ashley

Ashley Schulze is from Battle Creek, Nebraska. She currently attends Norfolk Catholic High School. Ashley is also a certified Archery instructor. She loves to help youth. IN 2015, Ashley shot on the Nebraska Recurve Archery team at the 4-H National Shooting Sports Championships held in Grand Island. She loves the opportunities that come with being in 4-H, such as showing swine, doing static 4-H projects, and shooting trap and archery.

Cooper Dixon - E-Mail Cooper

Cooper Dixon is a sophomore at Pleasanton High School. He is active in football and basketball, but his favorite sport is by far Shooting Sports. He has been very active in 4H, doing many different activities over the years including showing calves, lottery pigs, and even making a barn quilt that is displayed on his family farm. Not only is Cooper a Nebraska Shooting Sports Ambassador, but he was also chosen in 2016 to represent Nebraska as a National Shooting Sports Ambassador. Cooper participated in the National Shooting Sports Competition in 2016, in the Hunting Skills discipline. After high school, Cooper is undecided on where he will go to school, but he would love to be on a competitive trap team in college, and study gunsmithing.

Morgan Ekhoff - E-Mail Morgan

Morgan is a Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador. She is a sophomore at Aurora High School in Hamilton County. She is certified in Archery as an apprentice instructor. She enjoys showing cattle and shooting trap.
