Social Humanitarian and Cultural

Hi, my name is Sage Pippard Vigander. I’m in 2IB at Nesbru VGS, and I will be the chair for the Social, Humanitarian and Cultural committee! I have been doing MUN for about a year, and I’m the Head of Drafts and Promotions for Nesbru’s MUN club. During my time doing MUN I’ve been to multiple conferences, my first being NORMUN last year, where I won Best Speaker in my committee. I’ve also attended two Model European Parliament conferences. While I’ve never chaired at a conference before, I have a lot of chairing experience from weekly sessions at my school and at Asker International School, where I have been part of organising their MUN club. I hope everyone in my committee will read the research paper and prepare for the topic well, as it makes for a better debate when everyone knows the topic. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and hearing the discussions, and I hope I can make the committee fun for you as other chairs have done for me in the past!

My name is Djibril Balde, I am in Vg2 and I am the Co - Chair of the Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee. I have been doing MUN for about 3 three semesters now and this will be my first conference. I am excited to work with the people involved in the NESMUN council and look forward to chairing at my
first conference.
