Hector

Hector Township is a rural township which shares school districts with Galeton Area School District and Northern Potter School District. It is unique for our area and for Potter County as it is the home to a 90 MW Wind Farm producing electricity by 25 of the world’s tallest WindTurbines some of which measure 600 feet. It is also the home of some of Potter County’s absolute best hunting and fishing habitats and camps for hundreds of non-Potter County residents.
