Genesee


Genesee Township is a rural township is the home of a quiet and unique manufacturer of Department of Defense products, two significant natural gas storage and transmission stations, one of the largest trucking firms in Pennsylvania, a log debarking / hardwood mulch production facility, and one of the area’s largest hardware and lumber supply yards in Potter County. Several dairy, beef, and crop farms populate this Township in our NEPEDA Served Area. The Genesee River combines its three branches in this Township and flows north with several beautiful waterfalls to Lake Ontario at Rochester NY. The Genesee River is one of the finest fishing rivers in the Northeastern United States. Genesee Township is the home of some of the best hunting and fishing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
