Who do we serve?

Our services are available to all self-identifying Indigenous/Afro-Indigenous individuals residing in New Jersey and the broader tri-state area. Additionally, Indigenous individuals from any state or country are welcome to participate in the Pass the Feather talking circle or attend any virtual or in-person events. Our website offers resources that are accessible to anyone with internet access, ensuring broader reach and support.

What does it mean to be Indigenous? 

Indigenous peoples are the original inhabitants of regions across the globe, including the Americas, Oceania, Europe, Asia, and Africa, with deep cultural, social, and political ties to their ancestral lands. Indigenous identities are dynamic and continue to evolve, encompassing not only historical roots but also current expressions of belonging that are shaped by political, socio-cultural, and environmental factors. These communities continue to thrive and assert their rights and traditions today, navigating the challenges of modern life while preserving their distinct heritage.
