NDoLab

Anyone can master their product development and production through BOM.

In order to make it happen, NDoLab has studied and developed a comprehensive Bill of Material (BOM) concept and its applications to the next product development and manufacturing .

Based on the experiences, NDoLab supports an introductory education and training course on BOM. It consists of lectures on basic concepts of BOM, tutorials realizing the BOM concept using an information system, and a training project for new product development.

To illustrate the advantages of BOM-based product development and manufacturing, NDoLab has developed several prototyping projects including C Mannequin, a smart connected product, and TRIP, an automated robot assembly planning system based on the desktop robots.

Through the BOM education and training course with illustrative examples, NDoLab imagines amusing uses of BOM in the next digital product development and manufacturing.

It illustarted the next BOM sturucture to support fully automated manufacturing processes and its machine intelligence based on manchine learning models.

C Mannequin

A smart connected product contains software and hardware parts. The software is connected network services and databases to realize its intelligent features. It also uses large scale community services to report its status and interact with its customers. C Mannequin project has tested proper BOM structures to manage the new product development and services environment for the next smart connected products.
