NDOA Top Tips
Please be alert to the rest needs of colleagues and to your own. Can you enable someone to rest for a while? Even a few minutes can really help.
When you do have a few minutes, consider whether you can get outside. The JR site has green spaces where you can walk in a suitably socially distant manner. Fresh air will help.
Be intentional with the messages you hear and give. Simple, specific encouragement can make a huge difference to a colleague (if genuine).
Consider bringing food and drink treats to work that can keep you going in the dips (nice snacks, water bottle, great coffee, whatever you will enjoy).
Consider bringing toiletries eg if you want to have a shower or end up staying later than planned at work.
Keeping a journal allowing you to look back on how much you've achieved during this time can be uplifting and useful in the future.
Appropriate no-clincal photo memories can help you and others reflect on the many changes we are all experiencing.
Begining and end of day catch ups with your immediate team.
Take time to enjoy things away from work where you can.
