The Respecting Differences Award is a yearly bursary sponsored by the Notre Dame Catholic School Council for $1000. The majority (if not all) of the cost of the award is funded by the proceeds of used uniform sales.

It is awarded to the graduating student who has consistently demonstrated exemplary treatment of all people. This student recognizes that we are all created by God and worthy of respect. Through their everyday actions and words, we have all learned that the intrinsic dignity of each person must always be respected in word, in action and in law.

The recipient has also exercised leadership in dealing with social issues within our school. This student has recognized the need for initiatives that address concerns related to the life of our whole school community and has always worked in harmony with the faith foundations of our Catholic School.
