The Indiana Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) works closely with Visit Indy (the local convention and visitors bureau), the Indiana Convention Center (ICC), Lucas Oil Stadium (LOS), and NFCYM to ensure that all visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience in the city. IMPD liaises with the Department of Homeland Security and the local FBI field office to ensure they know and are prepared to address potential threats. At this time, there is no heightened risk to our conference or participants.
IMPD asks that you:
Use the sidewalks and crosswalks and follow the directions of the officers directing traffic.
Warn your group members NOT to prop their hotel room doors open.

We will have an adult chaperone traveling with us who will be in possession of medication and who will administer medication to teens.
************************************************************************************
A form granting permission for a designated chaperone to give your child their medication over the course of NCYC will be collected. Note: The backside is for over-the-counter pain relief medications like Tylenol or Advil - we are doing a community supply of these rather than individual bottles, so even if your child has no other medications, you may want to fill out the Tylenol/Advil side of the form. Have your child bring it with their medication on Thursday (departure day).
