Employee Mental Health Toolkit
North Carolina Healthy Schools Employee Mental Health Toolkit
By helping all administrators, other managers, teachers, and staff understand the importance of mental well-being and recognizing the physical, mental, emotional, and social symptoms in themselves and others, they can ultimately prevent burnout. In turn, they are likely to have a workforce with lower levels of stress, improved school employee attendance, lower levels of employee turnover, and an increased ability to model positive emotions for students.
This toolkit adds an important systemic layer of prevention and intervention in a coordinated way. It provides information, guidance and reference in supporting the mental well-being of school staff and administrators.
This toolkit was developed by Continuum Consulting Services, LLC and RBH Wellness Solutions, LLC in partnership with the North Carolina Institute for Public Health and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (North Carolina Healthy Schools).
