NCEM Comms Group

The Auxiliary Communications Group is composed of local NCEM credentialed volunteers who provide both backup emergency communications when normal communications systems fail, and Communications Support of normal responses utilizing normal response communications systems.

This could include various planned and coordinated public events to emergency and/or unplanned communication system failures, search and rescue operations, wildfires responses, or other emergencies.

The NCEM Comms Group is designed to work in conjunction with other Local, State, and Federal Organizations like ARES, RACES, and local clubs and not replace their efforts. In fact many of our members are a part of their ranks as well!
