• Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is more than just a student organization—it’s a transformative experience that empowers middle and high school students across the nation to develop leadership potential, real-world skills, and a sense of community. With over 244,000 members in more than 5,300 chapters nationwide, including those in the Georgia State Association of FCCLA (NCCA FCCLA), students gain invaluable experiences that help prepare them for both college and career. Rooted in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education, FCCLA offers members the opportunity to explore various career pathways such as Human Services, Hospitality and Tourism, Education and Training, and Visual Arts and Design, while building essential life skills.

FCCLA’s programs are designed to prepare students for success in four key Career Pathways:

• Human Services – Students gain insight into careers related to social work, healthcare, counseling, and other services that support individuals and families.

• Hospitality and Tourism – Students explore careers in the hospitality, travel, and food industries, learning about customer service, management, and entrepreneurship.

• Education and Training – Members develop skills to pursue careers in education, child development, and training, including teaching, mentoring, and leadership.

• Visual Arts and Design – Students interested in creative careers such as fashion, graphic design, and architecture explore the world of visual arts and develop their artistic and project management skills.

• Through NCCA FCCLA, members engage in work-based learning and gain industry-specific knowledge that helps them become career-ready. Whether through competitive events or real-world internships, students can apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to actual career scenarios, making them more competitive in college admissions and future job opportunities.                              Membership Dues & Information

NCCA FCCLA membership dues are $35, which covers membership benefits such as access to FCCLA programs, leadership opportunities, and participation in chapter activities. Please note that the membership fee does not include the cost of the official FCCLA shirt. The shirt is available separately for $15. Additionally, participation in events such as conferences, competitive events, and other activities may require separate registration fees. You can pay in-cash to J.Moore in room 2.225.
