Meet the Teacher

About Mrs Fitz-

Mrs. Fitz is short for Mrs. Fitzgerald.  

• 10 years in education, more if you count teaching pre-K

• I’ve been @ North Since 2014 

• Currently teaching Economics and Personal Finance, Psychology and AP Psych. I have taught just about every other class at some point as well. 

• I Attended: NCSU, CFCC, UNCW, and GCU, in that order. I got my Bachelor of Arts in History from UNCW, and my Master in Education from GCU.

• I’m pretty artsy and crafty. I help with Theatre productions and I incorporate a fair amount of art into my regular classes.  

• In my “spare time” I spend the majority of my life on the side of a baseball field and/or in a dance auditorium or poolside. My 13 year old son plays travel baseball for Beast and Runs XC. He also plays basketball. My 10 year old daughter is dancing and swimming competitively. 

• For my own personal fun I enjoy sleeping, painting, Drawing character mash-ups amongst other things and reading. I like yoga and I am going to do the Zombie Run this fall. Come Join me!

Mrs. Fitz uses Canvas for classwork and grades!
