NA Warrior Chess hosts its first Chess Camp
While everyone else in the city was playing in the pool or hanging out at the park, NA Warrior Chess was hard at work. The week of July 16th we hosted our first annual summer chess camp. There were 11 participants, ranging from ages 8 to 16, that joined us from all over the city. There was three days of skills training (and a little fun in the gym) followed by a two-day tournament. The competition was fierce and all the players rose to the occasion. NA Warrior Chess may be small, but we're making big noise!!
