Damir is from Atlanta, GA. Currently rated 2338, he's a National Master ranked in the top 200 players in the country (that's the top 99.5%!). He won the 2009 and 2013 Georgia State Championships and also tied for 5th in the 2008 US Open held in Dallas, TX. He's been teaching chess for ten years and has helped many students improve their game.
Damir holds a BBA in Marketing from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University.
