About
Navjit Gaurav is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture and Planning. A recipient of the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Scholarship, he completed his Bachelor's degree at the School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal, and his Master's in Social Work, with a specialization in Disability Studies and Action, from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, India. He completed his PhD at Queen's University, Kingston, Canada. Following his PhD, he completed a year of postdoctoral research work at Queen's University. He joined IIT Roorkee in 2024 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture and Planning. Many of his projects are associated with participatory and action research with communities in India and abroad.
