2022 Matariki 3-minute thesis (3MT) 2022 People’s Choice Award Winner [Matariki group of Insitutions]
Represented Queen's University at Matariki group of Institutions. Students from six Matariki Network institutions competed in the 2022 Matariki Network 3MT®. Our international judging panel had the difficult task in selecting the winners, while our online People’s Choice award allowed the public to cast their own votes for a victor.
2022 3-minute thesis competition runner-up at university level [Queen's Hall of Fame'22]
3MT is a university-wide competition for Queen’s Masters (thesis or research project) and doctoral students in which participants present their research and its wider impact in 3 minutes or less to a panel of non-specialist judges.

All of the presentations from Queen's 3MT competition 2022 were available for viewing on the School of Graduate Study's website. After viewing the presentations, the community was invited to vote for the “People’s Choice” and the winner was selected.
2020 Most Engaging Panel Award-Scholarships Beyond Boundaries Conference (SGPS) at Queen's University
The conference aims to facilitate conversation between scholars of different disciplines through a multi-disciplinary and multi-spatial panel. We discussed the rehabilitation research and practices in three different contexts (Canada, India, and Ethiopia). We also discussed opportunities for collaboration and learning from each other and applied the knowledge to each unique context.

2018 Accessibility Coordinator at 'International Conference on Inclusion and Accessibility in the Higher Education'
This conference was held at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. I was responsible for ensuring the entire conference's content and venue were accessible to participants, speakers, and attendees. My team of six students and I ensured that the 150 people attending the academic event of three days were able to access the event smoothly by addressing, identifying, and coordinating diverse accessibility needs.

2015 Awarded “Best creative thesis award”
My undergraduate thesis on the Tribal Cultural and Heritage Centre, described the artistic and architectural heritage of six primitive tribes of Jharkhand. This center was proposed for the protection, preservation, and promotion of the tribal art and architecture and awarded a medal and citation at A+D and CERA Awards held in Bangkok, Thailand.
