Defining the Position Angle for Long-Slit Spectroscopic Observations

By default, the position angle is set to 0 degrees (defined as positive from N to E direction).

The observer could request a different position angle by following the instructions below:

(1) Before starting guiding the telescope, observers request a position angle;

(2) Operators move the instrument to the requested position angle;

(3) Observers confirm the position angle through direct imaging or GACam;

(4) Operators look for a guiding star.
