The municipality of Castro Verde, located in Baixo Alentejo, presents an interesting set of natural soundscapes, reflecting a rich composition of species that is favored by the extensive agriculture and the rotation of fallow and agricultural land, sometimes associated with small olive groves and eucalyptus. The holm oak forest can also be found in the region.
