SHORT HISTORY:
The Jadeja Rajputs claim Samba, son of Lord Krishna as their ancestor. A descendant was Narpat, Chief of the Samas of Nagar Thatha, immediate ancestor of the Samas, and the ancestor of the Bhati, Chudasama and Jadeja rajputs. The Chudasamas branched off around 875, leaving the Jadejas still in Sind.

Jam Lakha Ghurara, Jam of Nagar Thatta in Sindh, married 1stly, married 2ndly, and had issue, eight sons, the Samma Rajputs. He was killed by his brothers, Muda and Manai. He lived around 790 or 1250.

Jam Virji [aka Veraji], married and had issue.
Kumar Shri Lakha Veraji, he was adopted by his uncle, and succeeded as Jam Lakha Jadani, 1st Jam Sahib of Kutch 1146/1175, he captured Kutch with the aid of his brother in 1146, married and had issue, the Jadeja Rajputs. He lived around 1350.
Jam Rayadhan Lakhaji, 2nd Jam Sahib of Kutch 1175/1215, married and had issue. He died 1215 or lived around 1365.
Jam Dedaji Rayadhanji, he was granted Kanthkot, married and had issue, ancestor of Dadar of Wagad.
Jam Athoji or Odhaji Rayadhanji of Ajapur, 3rd Jam Saheb of Kutch 1215/1255, he was granted main capital Lakhiyar Veero respectively in Kutch, and succeeded his father, married and had issue. He lived around 1385.
Jam Gajanji Rayadhanji, he was granted Bara, married and had issue.
Jam Halaji Gajanji, married and had issue.
