PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: The Taluka, a Sixth Class State, is an offshoot of the Kotda-Sangani State. Kumar Shri Hakoji, the third son of Sangoji of Kotda-Sangani received in appanage a partrimony of 6 villages in about 1726.
