Once you are inside azure, you will see a file named Facility Shortcut, open it and look for the facility name. (e.g Central Texas Pediatric Orthopedics)
Centricity as our main system is used to discuss the patient's account, billings, claims and anything that has something to do with the account.
Before we dig into its uses, let me guide you the basic - how to log in and access it.
Once centricity is pulled up from the facility shortcut, you will be asked to enter into another server. (A server inside a server)
You should input your centricity credentials to enter the server make sure to put the domain NY (eg. NY\nbpjxm00)
You will need to open the server by double clicking the CST015 and hit connect after.
You will need to input your centricity credentials again. Make sure to include the domain NY so you will no encounter an error.
Once logged in, you will see the icon CTP centricity, you will need to log in again using your centricity credentials.
Once CTP Centricity is launched, you will be routed to Athena Health interface. You will need to log in again using your centricity credentials. This time, you will not include the domain NY. Hit Log in, there will be another box that will pop up to remind you that this should only be accessed by an authorized person, just hit OK.
In this interface, there are a few tabs but we will be looking the billing tab.
Now that we have successfully launched and log in to Centricity. We can now start assisting our Central Texas Pediatrics Orthopedics patients.
