Upcoming Events

Connect. Learn. Belong.

National POCIS brings together educators, school leaders, and professionals of color from across the independent school community. Our events create opportunities to build meaningful relationships, exchange ideas, celebrate our shared experiences, and strengthen our collective impact.

In addition to national gatherings, we encourage you to explore programming offered by your regional POCIS organization throughout the year. Together, our national and regional events create spaces for connection, professional growth, and community.

National POCIS Meetup at NAIS Gather 2026

Saturday, December 5, 2026
Boston, Massachusetts

Attending the NAIS Gather Conference this December? Join fellow educators, administrators, and professionals of color for the National POCIS Meetup.

This informal gathering is an opportunity to connect with colleagues from independent schools across the country, expand your professional network, reconnect with familiar faces, and build new relationships in a welcoming community.

This is not a workshop, presentation, or conference session—just dedicated time to gather, share experiences, and enjoy being in community with one another during the conference.

Who should attend?

• Educators and school leaders of color attending the NAIS Gather Conference

• First-time and returning conference attendees

• Anyone looking to connect with the national POCIS community
