The general administration for exploration is concerned with oversight, supervision & follow-up of oil operations & activities carried out by oil companies operating in the country related to exploration, drilling, development & production by applying regulations to preserve petroleum wealth resources in order to optimize the exploration of hydrocarbon resources in oil reservoirs, and to explore new oil fields & reservoirs.
