Once upon a time in a far far away country called neiva there was a time war that greatly scared the earth. In order to survive the founders Of Neiva built a dome city to protect the people of the Earth's harsh environment. Saved from fate, the people live in two different cities called west Kan, and eat kan. Booth cities lived in harmony for ten years until one day a thief broke into the power chamber of the dome and stole the orb that powers the entire dome, without it the dome will only survive a week on emergency power. Fear of the orb not returning people of west Kan selected Ade Hilson who is best known for his ability to fight against any forcible means. The people of west kant hope that Ade hillson will restore social order. On the other hand the people of east Kan believed in a powerful leader to maintain peace. Both Ade and Edward head to the crime scene by train to find any clues. While on board the train Ade overhears passengers talking about how the military rule is in full effect. “What do you think about the military governing the people?” said Ade.” I think military rule is needed at times like this. It prevents further chaos, furthermore with the criminal on the loose we cant let him run around which is important to set up checkpoints to prevent criminals from coming in or out.” Edward Responded. “Interesting statement;however, I believe military rule will make citizens feel like they are criminals and they are the one paying the price for something they didn't do, and can cause people to rebel because of it.” Ade concluded. A few hours passed by and both Ade and Edward arrived at the crime scene. Once their Both Ade and Edward talked to the chief inspector who gave them an analysis of the situation. The chief inspector then showed them a bag with a piece of cloth inside of it. “What's this?” said Ade. “ A piece of fabric that was left behind by the criminal, we analyzed it, and found out only one shop produces this type of cloth in this country. It's called the palace and it is located in east Kan”. “ I know of this place, it's located near my home town.” said Edward. “Then that's where we need to head then.” said Ade. The chief inspector then pulled up a small screen “take a look of this its a video of the criminal wearing a bulky armor.'' It also shows security trying to shoot down the criminal but the weapons were no effect.``why isn't the criminal being affected by the weapons' ' Edward said. “The weapons are made to only paralyze the subjects, not kill them.” The chief inspector replied. “My guys tried to take him down, but faild and died trying”. “Thank you chief inspector for your good work”. As both Ade and Edward left the building they both were thinking about the motivation the criminal must have, and why steal the power source when they are putting themselves in danger as well? “ Those men should have access to more lethal weaponry. If they did then the power source would not have been stolen and those men would not have died.” “ the government decided to ban lethal weaponry in order to reduce crime and terrisom.” Ade repillied. “ the government should not restrict firearms from citizens if they are going to protect themselves.” replied Edward. “Do you think crimes like these can be reduced by monitoring citizen private lives?” said Ade. “ I do it will help sniff out the criminals that are hiding and help protect citizens from terrorist attacks.” said Edward. “But that will invade citizens' privacy, and all that data can be used as blackmail citizens to do crime for the criminals.” said Ade. as they both argued about the ethics of surveillance they continued to walk to the market in East Kan. once there they continued to walk to towards the shop where an old lady was helping customers checkout. “Excuse me miss we are looking for someone who purchased this type of fabric” Ade pulls out the bag with the fabric inside and showed it to the old lady. “Oh yes I remember a young boy purchasing this type of fabric from me the previous day.” said the old lady. “Did he say anything about were he was going?” asked Edward. “Yes, he said he was going to meet a man in west kan. Then he left”. Replied the old lady. “Thank you for your cooperation mam.” said Ade. as they both left Ade asked Edward about what East Kan was like while he was growing up. “ The streets were dangerous, everyone was always staring down at each other because they were scared of being robbed and killed. The market barely sold anything fresh. The roads and buildings were always broken. In other words it never was able to flourish to its full potential.” Edward stated. “Is that why your against the free market when you became the leader of East Kan”. “ yes I believe the free market will go against the state's interest. The money the state collects will go towards military, fixing roads, and making cities prosper.” said Edward. “I believe people should have the freedom to choose to accept or denny any goods they wish to purchase instead of having a monopoly to purchase from.” said Ade. The two then went to west kan. Once at west Kan Edward and Ade both went to the meeting place were the criminal was going to meet a man. Couple hours passed by and two men came into the alleyway. Both Ade and Edward jumped both men and cuffed them both. A loud metallic sound then hit the ground. “There it is” said Ade as he grabbed the metallic orb. It was the missing orb. The next day the power source was placed back on its altar and peace was restored. On the same day a court session was in effect for the criminal named Jason. Both Ade and Edward will be prossicuting him. “You have been charged with serious crimes for stealing the power source of the dome. What were your motivations for doing so?” said the judge. “ I stole it because some guys promised to pay me a fortune so I can buy better medicine for my mother.” said Jason. “ Has your mother seen a doctor?” said the judge. “ I have however, the doctor wanted to do all sorts of tests on my mother, and that made her uncomfortable” said Jason, “ the doctor would refuse to give any medicine until he's done the test on her.” “ I see, what do you think of this Ade?” said the judge. “ I think his mother had the right to refuse the test and should have the right to request medicine from the doctor since it's her own health that's on the line.” said ade. “And what about you Edward.” said the judge”. “ I think the woman should have gone along with the doctor test since the doctor is more educated in the medical field then the woman. I believe the doctor had every right to list the options given to her.” said Edward. “And you said you couldn't afford the medicine either?” said the judge. “No sir not on minimum wage. It's barely enough to make a living.” “What do you two think about the market?” said the judge “I believe that the market should set the wage depending on the demand of the task” said Ade. “I believe the wage should be set based on skill and education.” said edward. Are you in school? Didn't they teach you not to steal?” said the judge. “No I find it quite boring and useless.” said jason. What do you think about these two?” “A school's purpose should teach the students to learn, memorize and extract the information on a test.” said edward. “I belive schools should listen to the request of the child and parents education instead of regurgitating information.” said Ade. “the punishment for Jason would be decided by both Ade and Edward. I shall choose the punishment between the two.” Ade began to say “ eight years in jail, and 4 years for good behavoir. Death would be to tyranical for such a government.” Edward than said “ Jason should fase death since he committed a grave crime it's only fitting to punish him with an equal punishment.” The judge then contemplated on the choises and said “ Jason shall spend four years in jail, then he shall work for thousand hours of community service. If he has not repent then we shall execute him. Case closed”. After the case was over both Ade and Edward went there separate ways but both felt they learn something from the other. The End.
