Indigenous Graduate Student Organization
In 2022, I co-founded the Indigenous Graduate Student Organization at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and served on its Board of Directors for three years. The organization builds community among Indigenous graduate and professional students through mentorship, professional development, cultural engagement, advocacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Indian Summer Festival, Inc.
I helped revive Indian Summer Festival and served on its Steering Committee and Board of Directors. Through this work, I contributed to organizational leadership, outreach, and planning for one of Wisconsin’s longstanding Indigenous arts and cultural organizations, supporting opportunities to celebrate Native cultures, artists, and communities.
I serve on the Board of Directors for Roots for Resilience, an Indigenous-led organization advancing food sovereignty, fuel sovereignty, and community resilience. The organization works with Tribal Nations and Indigenous communities to strengthen self-determination, environmental stewardship, and sustainable community systems.
Academic & Professional Service
My professional service extends my commitment to strengthening Indigenous scholarship, mentorship, and academic communities. I served as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Graduate Representative for the Department of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison from 2023 to 2025 and contribute to the American Political Science Association’s Indigenous Politics community, including organizing programming for junior scholars.
