Football
In France, there are women team and boy team of football and they make the teams in fonction of the different ages. The aim is to score the most goals, this game is traditionally played with eleven players.

Pétanque game
The petanque is a game of balls , it's come from Provence. It's the eleventh sport in France there is 298 151 players. The goal is to be closest with the big ball of the jack (smaller ball).

Music time !
The students have music 1 hour per week. They don’t play instruments but they only sing and learn about different music styles. The only instrument they play is toumperleki (djembé, in french) (τουμπερλεκι, in greek), and the teacher plays the piano. The rest of the time they’re learning songs. After a few weeks the teacher test his pupils in groups of three or four. Every person sings a part of the song and the teacher plays the piano.

Sports at the St. Joseph school
At the St. Joseph school in Sarlat, the students have 3 hours of sports p/week.They change the sport every 2,5 months. When the weather is good, they’re doing outdoor sports like basketball, ultimate, sprinting and swimming. But when the weather is bad in the winter, they’re doing acrobatics, judo or table tennis. The favorite sport of the pupils is basketball.

In this school there are a stadium, gym hall and basketball court.

When the school is finished, the students have various activities, for exemple music activities, video games and sport activities. For the last one, there are basketball, football, motorbike, judo, karate and rugby. Back home, they're watching series and movies. In the summer , they're all swimming in the Dordogne river or in a swimming pool.

Rugby
Maybe rugby come from the UK, a lot of french people are playing it. People like it because It’s a really entertaining sport. This team sport has the following rules : there are two teams with each 10 players. Each team wants to win by bringing the oval ball to the other side of the field. The team who have the most points wins. The rugby club of Sarlat is called CASPN. They’re the best team of the french region “Aquitaine” (the red part of the map).
