Technology at school
The technology in Kangillinnguit Atuarfiat is quite modern. The school has WIFI for the students, which allows them to find information about diifferent topics. But, the connection is very bad.
There is only one area in the school where the phones are forbidden : the library.
The classrooms are equiped with computers and projectors. Also, there are several computers and laptops in all the school.To end with,the school has also a lot of machines like printers and scanners.

Technology at home
Some people think Greenland is isolated, but the reality is that they already have a smartphone when they are nine. First of all, hardly any house in Greenland has a computer, a TV and differend electronic devices. Then, in a lot of Grenlandic families all the members have some kind of mobile phone. Finally, the internet connection gets really slow during a snow storm.

technology at fishing and hunting
There is not a vide variety of activities the Greenlanders can do. Their main source of income is fishing and hunting.But how are the Greenlanders go fishing and what technological equipment are they using for that purpose ?
First of all,the Greenlanders do not have a vide variety of technological equipment.The only things they are using is a GPS, for not loosing their orientation and a kind of computer to see how deep the ocean is under their ship.
On the other hand, the Greenlanders need more technological equipmentfor hunting. Τhe hunters have a GPS and a compass to orientate easier. Another thing the hunters need is an iridium phone, so that they can call for help whenever they want. All this technological equipment depends on the experience of the Greenlander hunter, the better he knows the area and the places where to hunt the less he needs the relevant equipment.
According to the Greenlanders...'not everyone can buy all this technological equipment and some of the hunters get lost or die because of snow storms.'

Differences between France / Greece and Greenland
There are a lot of differences between Greenland,France and Greece concerning Technology. First of all , some of the Greenlandic children already have smartphones at the age of nine, in France and Greece, it’s only at twelve. In school, the students are able to use laptops and computers, in France and Greece, we´re only using computers once in a week. Another difference is that the WIFI in Greenland is very expensive in small cities, in France and Greece, there are a lot of free WIFI spots.

Differences between Greenlandic cities
In the different Greenlandic cities, there are differences between the technology. The capital city, Nuuk, is the most evolved city of Greenland. In the other cities, like Kangerlussuaq, Ilulissat, Aasiaat, Qaqortoq, Narsaq, Kapisillit, Qeqertarsuatsiaat and Qaanaaq, there is a connection with variable speed. But there is no connection out of the Greenlandic cities. There is only one provider of telecommunications and internet in Greenland, TELE Greenland, which gives an internet connection to all the towns of Greenland, with different prices.

Like all the other students all over the world, the greenlandic students are using different ways to do their homework using technology too.
At home they are searching for information with their mobile and their computer. At school things are completely different, they use brand new laptops to find information and they use them whenever they want. Laptops are in high quality and so students are able to do a lot of tasks with them.
