         This internship stressed applying my learned skill in a real and community-based healthcare setting. Thus, I obtained lots of insight from the internship opportunity, including working in a stressful healthcare setting, developing teamwork with other nurses, learning how to interact and create bonds with the patients, and sharpening my theoretical awareness into reality. Therefore, I am sure to work in various healthcare settings from this internship opportunity. Specifically, I learned the significance of forming close patient bonds. Thus, I am sure to interact with the patients and develop the trust that would effectively deliver care.

Course Project: Culturally Specific Mental Health Awareness Creation

         This project aimed at looking at the effectualness of giving patients care based on their cultural backgrounds and caregivers who comprehend their cultural setting. Thus, from this project, I gained more awareness concerning handling mental health conditions by specifically bridging the cultural gap between patients and their caregivers. Thus, I can apply this concept when working with my patients or in nursing leadership positions. I can therefore ensure that the patients receive care from caregivers who fully comprehend their cultural background since this would boost trust in caregiving. Besides, it is vital as a care provider to be culturally competent when dealing with my patients.
