NASPR 2026 NYC Conference Travel Awards

The online application form is open for North American Chapter trainees who are interested in being considered for a NASPR 2026 NYC Conference Travel Award.

There are three general travel award categories. 1) One award is oriented to trainees/students (including undergraduate students, Masters and Doctoral students) who will be attending a NASPR conference for the first time. 2) The second award is oriented to trainees/students (including undergraduate students, Masters and Doctoral students) who have previously attended a NASPR conference. 3) The third award is oriented to postdoctoral trainees and early career professionals (less than 3 years since degree). The exact number of awards and the total award amounts will be determined after the review process has been completed. 

We encourage nominations of and applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds, identities, and abilities.

Eligibility:

1. First author on an accepted paper or poster;

2. A trainee/student, postdoctoral fellow or early career professional (less than 3 years since degree, according to SPR status) at the time of the conference;

3. In good standing with NASPR (i.e., NASPR membership is current).

The application is very brief - please note that the form will ask for some identifying and professional information. In addition, it will ask you to enter/paste the title of your accepted paper/poster presentation as well as your accepted paper/poster presentation Abstract.

Please note that the link in this email and the application form are specifically for North American SPR Chapter members (with trainee status, including undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral individuals) only. Also, please note that in order to be considered for a trainee travel award, the online application form must be completed.

Awards will be presented during the North American Chapter Business Meeting at the NASPR Conference, upon verification of registration and NASPR membership.

The application deadline is FRIDAY MAY 29, 2026. (This deadline will not be extended to allow for a timely review and notification process). Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
