NASPR 2026 is almost here!
We’re excited to welcome you to NASPR 2026 next week! As we get ready for the conference, we’ll continue updating this page with important information, conference updates, and answers to frequently asked questions to help you prepare for your visit and make the most of your experience.
We’ll also add answers to questions we receive from attendees, so be sure to check back for the latest information.
We can’t wait to see you at NASPR 2026!
Q: Will the conference be broadcast or accessible via zoom?
A: NASPR 2026 is designed as an in-person conference. However, the opening remarks, plenary sessions, and all sessions taking place in the auditorium will also be broadcast via Zoom. Zoom access information will be shared with registered conference attendees by email in the next few days.
Q: Can attendees register on site, on the day of the conference?
A: Yes, on-site registration will be available. However, we strongly encourage attendees to register online as soon as possible to ensure a smooth conference check-in experience. Registration information is available in the Registration section of this website.
Please keep in mind that attendees who register at the last minute may not receive a pre-printed name badge and may need to complete their badge by hand. Those registering on site should also bring a check to facilitate payment.
Finally, SPR membership applications require a few days for approval. Attendees who wait to join and register on site will therefore not be eligible for the discounted member registration rate.
We strongly recommend registering in advance so that everything is ready for you when you arrive!
Q: I have submitted a SPR membership request but it hasn't been approved yet
A: Due to the high volume of SPR membership requests being submitted ahead of the conference, membership approval may take a few days. If you have not received an update within 72 hours of submitting your request, please email sarah.blochelkouby@yu.edu. We will be happy to follow up and help expedite the process so that you can complete your conference registration on time.
Q: Can I register for the culinary tour on Friday?
A: Unfortunately, due to low registration numbers, the organized culinary tour has been canceled. However, attendees who are interested in exploring New York City's culinary scene are welcome to book a tour independently through our original vendor, Tasty Tours NYC.
Luggage Storage
On the final day of the conference, Friday, October 16, conference attendees will be welcome to store their luggage in the coat-check area at the Yeshiva University Museum. Please note that this area may be unattended, and luggage and personal belongings are left at the owner’s discretion. NASPR and Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology cannot assume responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Important update for presenters in the auditorium
We previously asked all presenters scheduled to present in the auditorium to submit their PowerPoint presentations ahead of time so that our technical team could prepare and test them in advance.
However, we understand that this requirement has created some stress for presenters, particularly those who are still making last-minute adjustments to their slides!
We have therefore decided to change this requirement from mandatory to optional. While we still strongly encourage presenters to submit their slides in advance, those who prefer not to do so are welcome to bring their presentations on a USB drive.
However, please keep in mind the following:
Embedded links and multimedia: Links, videos, and other embedded content may not function properly unless they have been checked and configured by our technical team in advance.
Tight scheduling: Some sessions are scheduled back-to-back, leaving very little time to upload and test presentations between sessions. This may result in delays to the start of your session.
Technical difficulties: While we will do our best to ensure that everything runs smoothly, last-minute uploads may lead to unexpected technical issues that could have been prevented through advance testing.
An additional note about the Power Point presenter view feature: Because presentations in the auditorium will be livestreamed via Zoom, presenters may not be able to use PowerPoint's presenter view feature, which allows speakers to see their notes while presenting. We therefore encourage you to prepare accordingly.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and flexibility! Our goal is to make the conference experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible for everyone, and we are grateful for your cooperation in helping us achieve this.
