Below are projects I began working on early in my study. For a more up-to-date digital portfolio, Contact Me

AT:LAS Innovation Studios

In conjunction with SOM, LATTC is working to create Architectural Technologies: Los Angeles Solutions, an innovative architecture studio that gives back to the community with every opportunity. The AT:LAS Innovation Studio will encourage local designers and innovators to come learn about the power of design while providing the occasion to work with technologies not usually available. Much like a library, the AT:LAS Innovation Studio will transport learners to new worlds by simulating creativity and ingenuity.

The original model is inspired by the Cuneo Monument by Aldo Rossi.

It had to feature a cube, the feeling of a contradictory entrance, opening to the sky, sense of ascension, and windows, specifically vertical.

This is how I interpreted the project.

We are currently still working on the project, and the updates will be posted here.

NISSE

Neighborhood Interventions SMART Sustainable Environments

The Norwegian house sprites, Nisse, live in the unused space of a home and are tasked with the protection of the home. The NISSE ADU project allows single families to live in the unused lots and backyards often overlooked.

NEIGHBORHOOD INTERVENTIONS

Allow people in need of a home to have access to one by giving ignored parcels of land to private developers and nonprofit organizations. These groups will be tasked with creating beautiful individual homes or developments that add homes and security to all.

SMART

Entirely supported by SMART technologies, NISSE ADUs are truly homes of the future.

SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTS

Focus on the balance of social, economic, and environmental factors. Incredible homes that add to the community, affordably made which means affordably priced, and completely green with photovoltaic tech, a rooftop garden, and other environmentally friendly components.

Based on modular design, these houses can be filled and rearranged continuously, in the design process. Pictured above is twelve modular designs with one of them followed through the entire design process.
