Hello and welcome!
My name is Nia Smith. I'm an architectural student at Howard University. I like to design residential architecture and furniture. Every page features one of the Case Study Houses in the title banner; I use them as inspiration and they remind me how freeing architecture can be.
My design philosophy focuses on wide open spaces, encouraging the most natural light as possible, and sustainable SMART design. My goal to save the client money, whilst saving the planet.

The Four Books of Architecture by Palladio
99% Invisible is a fantastic podcast. This a video they did with Vox on the poor design of many doors, and it really got me hooked on brilliant design.
I'm a huge fan of the Youtuber, 30x40 Design Workshop. His videos are aesthetically pleasing and incredibly educational.
