The Minnesota Indivisible Alliance endorsed Flanagan because, in the battle against fascism, we need leaders like Peggy Flanagan. We’re proud to stand with Minnesota Indivisibles to support Flanagan in her run to be the next U.S. Senator for Minnesota.
Minnesota - US Senate Primary - August 11, 2026:
Born to an Indigenous and Irish family, Peggy Flanagan got her political start on Paul Wellstone’s 2002 campaign; in 2004, at 25 years old, she was elected to the Minneapolis School Board, its youngest-ever member. She trained tens of thousands of grassroots activists with Wellston Action and later, as executive director of the Children’s Defense Fund–Minnesota, co-chaired the Raise the Wage Coalition, successfully pushing to raise Minnesota’s minimum wage.
The fights to protect SNAP, housing assistance and Medicaid aren’t abstract for Flanagan; growing up, her family relied on these services to get by. Elected a state representative in 2015 and as Tim Walz’s Lt. Governor in 2019, Flanagan has led on paid family and medical leave, free school meals, universal background checks for gun purchases, and the fight to keep abortion legal in the state. She is Objibwe and an enrolled member of the White Earth Nation; if elected, she would be the first indigenous woman to serve in the U.S. Senate.
She’s running for U.S. Senate to continue defending working people against a regime that’s gutting essential services to enrich the billionaire fascism funders in Trump’s inner circle.

The Indivisible Colorado Action Network has endorsed Gonzales, because, in the battle against fascism, we need leaders like Julie Gonzales. We’re proud to stand with Colorado Indivisibles to support Gonzales in her run to be the next U.S. Senator for Colorado.
Primary - June 30,2026 From fighting for renters and affordable housing, to championing workers rights and educational justice, Julie Gonzales has spent her life turning organizing into action and values into results.
As a member of the Colorado State Senate since 2018, Julie’s delivered major wins including enshrining abortion as a fundamental right, advancing voting rights, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, and repealing the death penalty. As a long-time organizer for immigrant rights, Julie has championed legislation to stop ICE from getting access to personal data and protect immigrants from arrest when they go to the doctor, school, or their place of worship.
Julie is unapologetically progressive, running a people-powered campaign to be a U.S. Senator Colorado deserves — one who is bold, honest, and willing to fight the fascist takeover of our government with the urgency and passion this moment requires. In the U.S. Senate, she’ll fight for affordability for all by establishing universal healthcare, childcare, and elder care, raising the federal minimum wage, and securing affordable housing. She’ll ensure a fair deal for everyone by cracking down on price gouging and junk fees, strengthening worker power, and banning congressional stock trading. She’ll champion the freedom to thrive by abolishing ICE, strengthening voting rights, and expanding access to abortion.
Lamonica McIver was elected in 2024 as the youngest person to represent New Jersey’s 10th Congressional District. She had served in the local legislature in Newark, and was well known in her community.
Representative McIver is facing federal charges, including allegations of assaulting or interfering with ICE officers, following a contentious oversight visit to a New Jersey detention center, a move supporters like Indivisible and supporters call a politically motivated prosecution. She faces up to 17 years in prison, while supporters and legal counsel argue her actions were within her statutory oversight rights and are mobilizing support against the prosecution.
The reality is that the case against her by the Trump administration — a test of executive power pitted against a first-term member of Congress who faces the possibility of a 17-year prison sentence — has made it very difficult for Ms. McIver, 39, to carry out her responsibilities.
