Schedule
My schedule is often subject to change/fluctuate based on the week and students' classes. Please reach out if you have any questions about where I may be on a given day!
Session Details and Services Provided:
Initial Intake: This session can run between 45 minutes to 1 hour in length. For our older students parents/guardians are welcome to attend in-person/virtual or complete a separate call to review. For our younger students, the therapist will meet with the parent/guardian and then the student towards the end or after. The intake consists of reviewing: policies/consents, releases of information, insurance verification, telehealth consents, psychosocial assessment, treatment plan, crisis plan, and symptom scales. During this initial session the therapist will be gathering information on the student to assess if this is the appropriate level of care, diagnosis, and treatment approach. A schedule will be set up for frequency of sessions (weekly, biweekly, monthly) and at which time of day.
Individual Therapy: These sessions can occur weekly, biweekly, or monthly based on the treatment plan agreed upon by the therapist and the family/student. Each session will be geared to the needs of the student and follow the treatment plan goals and objectives. Sessions can include talk-therapy, play/art activities, psychoeducation and worksheets, etc.
Family Therapy/Collaboration: Family therapy is offered based on treatment needs and concerns as they arise in sessions. Therapist will schedule quarterly meetings with families to update and review treatment plans. Additional meetings/collaborations can be scheduled or occur anytime throughout treatment.
Group Therapy: This type of therapy is available to students who could benefit from additional support on topics including anxiety, depression, coping skills, school stress, peer issues, etc. These sessions are offered and available as the therapist identifies the need.
