Welcome Back
August 2024
Welcome back to the 2024-2025 school year! Can you believe summer has come to an end already?! This upcoming school year, let us all work together to support one another to stay present focused, mindful of others, and valuing self-care and kindness.
Please review this newsletter to identify any updates for your services for this coming school year. This year I will be beginning the year in McKES, HES, and PES. You may also see me around CMS and IMS a bit as the school year gets started. I will be connecting with you over the next week to confirm your child’s session time.
I look forward to having a great year of growth with you!
-Miss Anna
UPCOMING MEETINGS AND EXPECTATIONS FOR THE YEAR
I will be holding quarterly meetings with students and families to review treatment plans (goals, objectives), crisis plans, and any changes to insurance. During these meetings it is our opportunity to touch base and dive into progress we are seeing/areas to focus more work on, discussing transitional services, or any other concerns. The first few weeks of services will be about re-establishing rapport with you and your child and reassessing needs and changes within their mental health services. Please provide any updates to their insurance if there were changes since the end of the school year.
PORTAL UPDATES
Our Glade Run Portal is continuing to be updated! As we move through the year we will be using this portal more frequently to obtain signatures. Your email address that was provided at time of intake was used to establish this portal. When you receive an email from our sysaid portal you will be prompted to log in. I have attached the information on how to navigate this portal to my SBMH website. Please review this information as it will be critical to your child’s care. If we have more than 3 unsigned encounter forms I will not be able to see your child. If I do not have a signed treatment plan, I will not be able to see your child. Students 14+ will sign their encounters at time of session, students younger will have a school representative sign off on their meetings. Should any meeting take place virtually or need a parent to sign off they will be sent through the portal. At this time our Policies and Consents and Telehealth Consent forms can be signed in the portal. Our releases of information are coming soon! Please take a few moments to log into your portal and ensure there are no issues. If you have any questions or problems please let me know!
