OBJECTIVES
Main objective: The development and validation of novel near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent contrast agents (CA) qualified to specifically tumoral targeting, for real-time image-guided of ovarian cancer surgery
Synthesis and characterization of novel phenothiazine-cored NIR dyes for folate receptor alpha (FRα) targeting.
Fabrication and characterization of NIR dye-loaded polymer nanoparticles functionalized with folic acid as effective CA for FRα–targeting.
Synthesis and investigation of inorganic nanoparticles with tunable and enhaced NIR emission for applications as new CA.
In vitro testing of CA on different cisplatin sensitive/resistant ovarian cell lines.
In vivo testing of CA.
Ex vivo testing of CA on peritoneal fragments with metastasis in ovarian cancer.
