Analog IC Design (NECC511/ECD560)
This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of design of MOSFET based analog integrated circuit. After the successful completion of this course the student will be able to Understand the principle of field-effect transistors and the operation of MOSFETs; Design current mirrors, differential amplifier circuits using CMOS transistors; Analyze the frequency response of amplifiers; Design Operational amplifiers and its noise analysis; Understand operation of Nonlinear analog building blocks like comparators, charge pump circuits, multipliers etc.
Neuromorphic Engineering (ECO502)
This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of design of Neuromorphic Circuits.
Circuit Simulation Lab (NECC531)
This lab course provides students with a practical exposure to design of MOSFET based on both analog and digital integrated circuits using CADENCE software. After the successful completion of this course the student will be able to design and understand the principles of current mirrors, differential amplifier circuits using CMOS transistors; Analyze the frequency response of amplifiers; Design Operational amplifiers and its noise analysis etc.
Electronics Engineering Lab-II (ECC508)
This Lab course will initiate students to to develop the skill of designing various analog building blocks for Analog VLSI system design in EDA tool suite like Cadence Virtuoso. Students will be able to Design Cascode, Wilson and Regulated cascode Current Mirrors. They will be able to design Single stage amplifiers (common source with diode connected and current source load, cascode and source followers), Differential amplifiers (current source load and active current mirror load), Operational Amplifiers. Students will also perform Noise analysis of Single stage, Differential and Operational Amplifiers in Cadence Virtuoso Schematic Editor.
My teaching has been consistently rated excellent in course/teacher evaluation by students in the various courses taught.
