Welcome to Nanban AI ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Nanban AI mobile application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").
1. Service Description
Nanban AI is a localized AI assistant providing regional chat, utility operations, and digital assistance. We utilize advanced Google Gemini models, OpenAI ChatGPT models (via Microsoft Azure), and third-party APIs to provide hardware integration (flashlight [Free], alarms, timers, device controls [Premium/Power]) and location-based help. You are responsible for account confidentiality.
2. Subscriptions & Energy Economy
The App uses a compute-based "Energy" system.
Free Tier: 250,000 compute points per session. Ad-supported.
Monthly Premium (₹249): Includes a 7-day Free Trial (via Google Play) and 50,00,000 compute points per session.
Yearly Premium (₹1,999): Best value (30% discount). Billed annually; no free trial.
Nanban Power (Elite Tier): For high-volume research and video creation. Monthly Power (₹1,699/month) or Yearly Power (₹16,999/year). Includes 50,000,000 compute points per session (500M weekly), Nanban Filmmaker AI Video Mode, Verithanam Persona, and 2,500 High-Tier Pro reasoning requests.
Resets: Energy points reset automatically every 5 hours. No rollovers. Costs vary based on query complexity (e.g., "Deep Think" or document analysis).
Weekly Limits: Free users receive 25 lakh points/week; Premium users receive 5 crore points/week; Power users receive 50 crore points/week.
Payments: Handled exclusively via Google Play Store.
3. AI Image & Video Generation & Watermarking
Ownership: You own generated images and videos that comply with our policies.
Watermarks: All AI-generated images and videos contain an official Nanban AI logo watermark. Removal or cropping of this watermark for deceptive purposes is strictly prohibited.
4. Privacy & Data Handling
Nanban AI requests access to certain device hardware and services to provide its core features.
Screen Context: If set as your Default Assistant, Nanban may analyze on-screen content when invoked. This data is processed in real-time, is never stored or used for training, and is deleted immediately after the response.
Local Storage: Your chat history is stored only on your phone. We have no cloud backups. While chat history is wiped upon uninstalling, to completely delete your registered account profile and cloud authentication data, you must use the 'Permanently Delete Account' button inside the app settings.
Live Vision & Audio (Nanban Eyes): Camera image frames and microphone streams in Nanban Eyes are processed strictly in real-time and are never recorded or stored. Live transcripts adhere strictly to your active display language (Tamil/English script isolation). Live transcripts created during Filmmaker Mode sessions are strictly temporary for real-time interaction and are never saved to your chat history.
Files: Documents (PDFs/Images/Videos) are temporarily processed via secure APIs (like Google Gemini) and are not stored permanently.
5. Liability & Accuracy
Hallucinations: AI can produce inaccurate info. Free Tier responses are based on a 2025 regional knowledge base; upgrade to Premium/Power for real-time 2026 web-grounded data and Google Search integration. Content is for entertainment/info only.

Third-Party Tools: We are not liable for inaccuracies in Live Weather (OpenWeather), location and places data (Google Maps/Places), or Google Image Search. By utilizing the in-app video search and playback features, you also acknowledge and agree to be bound by the official YouTube Terms of Service.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
We may terminate accounts for prompt injection (jailbreaking), generating harmful/illegal content, or automated abuse. Users must be 13+; minors need parental consent.
7. Governing Law
Governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
