From the deepest part of my heart, I express my sincere gratitude to Mastercard Foundation Scholarship, Agri-Impact Limited, KNUST E-Learning Centre, and iSchool Consult for this wonderful training session. 

I am very grateful for teaching me how to use PowerBI, do data analysis, design websites with Google site, advertise through various social media channels, and most importantly using Canva for basic graphic design. 

I can see that every trend and pattern of technology from artificial intelligence through data analysis and electronic form of transaction has been covered. Awww how can I leave my favorite cash book lessons (I just called my friend to design a cash book for her bread business), Bitrix24 for e-extension services, and precision agriculture. 

I am going to give back to my community starting from now. The most exciting aspect is that I am forever employed because nothing can make me unemployed after gaining this hands-on experience.

Wow, this course has been so educative. I had no idea that even Zoom could be used as an extension tool in agricultural technology. This course has enlightened my view on how technological software like Bitrix24 can be used as a tool to manage, collaborate, and share some essential information with farmers in agricultural production all in the comfort of your home. I now understand that agriculture plus innovative technologies can lead to cost-effectiveness compared to traditional agricultural extension services.

The program has been impactful indeed. And learning how to use digital tools to provide extension services in the Agric value chain is so great. Personally being a farmer and a resident of Ejura, one challenge I have observed is how farmers and customers measure or weigh farm produce in the market over the years, and sometimes the farmers or customers feel cheated. With the new knowledge I have gained in digital tools and how it can be used to provide extension services, I will bring farmers, customers, and other stakeholders on board on how to use appropriate tools to measure or weigh farm produce across major farming communities in Ghana. Another challenge is how farmers mishandle and misuse agricultural inputs, and these digital tools can be used to interact and educate them on the best way to use these agricultural inputs. Besides offering Agriculture at both S.H.S and Tertiary, I never imagined myself working in the agriculture field.

 I was more interested in technology and believed it to be the future. However, after enhancing my skills in programming and other IT areas through online courses and boot camps,

 I didn't have a clear path as to what to do with these skills. BUT NOW I KNOW!

Now, I see that, the knowledge and skills I have acquired can be used to revolutionize the traditional ways of farming. By implementing systems, tools, and automations, I can increase efficiency, productivity, and profits in agriculture. This will not only benefit me in generating more revenue than my hardworking mother but will me empower others in the industry to do the same. 

The seven years of studying agriculture were not wasted,  Thanks to the e-HAPPY project by MasterCard Foundation, Agri-Impact Limited,  KNUST E-LEARNING CENTRE, and iSchool Consult. 

The tools we have are already assets, and the onus lies on us to churn them out into liquid assets.

 For me, I had thought of how to integrate poultry and pig farmers on one platform where farmers will get a ready market for their produce, agri-input dealers will know their farmers, extension officers and veterinary officers can be accessed by farmers and this will be a sort of win-win for all the players making the venture along a targeted value chain. 

Now with the tools I have had, I think I'm in a comfortable lead. Thanks to all the partners, God bless them all for thinking about us.

I am Emmanuel Okletey, Sole Proprietor of Aba-Pa E-Extension Services, a subsidiary of Okletey Aba-Pa Enterprise. As a nervous participant with a lot of doubt about whether or not this training will be beneficial to me, it has really gone very far from my expectations. I have already identified a reasonable number of business opportunities in my community which pose a great challenge as to which of them to begin with.
