Information for presenters

Posters: Should be printed in A0/Portrait format. Please note that we cannot print your poster.

If you want to print your poster in Vienna, we can recommend Facultas, where you could order a poster to pick up in a book store. Further, this is the most common online printing service.

Otherwise, we recommend printing your poster on cloth to carry it easier!

Talks: Please send your slides to Namu.ISF@oeaw.ac.at (until 7th of December). Preferred format is Microsoft PowerPoint.

Venue and transport connections

Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW)

NaMu 2025 will take place on the premises of the main building of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. The building is centrally located and has excellent public transport connections.
The building is wheelchair accessible.

Public Transport Connection

Stubentor: U3 (Metro), Tram and busstation (5 min zu Fuß)

Stephansplatz: U3/U1 and busstation (6 min zu Fuß)

Schwedenplatz: U4 and tram (6 min on foot)

Public Transportation in Vienna

Vienna has a very well equipped public transportation network.

Informationen about tickets and prices at "Wiener Linien".

For example, a 3-day ticket (72 hours) costs €17.10 and is ideal for the duration of the conference.

Travel to Vienna

The S7 runs from Vienna-Schwechat Airport to Vienna Landstraße (good subway connection) and can be booked with a Vienna core zone ticket. ATTENTION: Vienna Airport is outside the core zone. You have to book an extra ticket between Vienna Airport and Schwechat (approx. 2 €). More on this above under “Public transportation in Vienna”.

We advise travellers to compensate for CO2 emissions and to choose climate-friendly travel options where possible.
